Canines in the Mist
I awoke to a foggy morning - not unheard of here, but most unusual, especially at this time of year. I decided to experiment with my "new to me" camera, a Canon PowerShot A80.
Some of the photos ended up being pretty good, and some are just plain odd.
I started off attempting to take a photo of a pretty little magenta flower, and this is what I got:
"Bargello"
In my view, fiddling with the knobs didn't really improve things much. Keep in mind this is the same flower I'd just taken a picture of:
"Coloring book flower"
The camera seemed to have a bit of trouble deciding how dark and how light to make its subject. Here are two views of the foggy landscape:
"Trees in the Mist 1"
and "Trees in the Mist 2"
A beautiful, dew-laden spiderweb caught my eye. The camera sure put a different spin on it. I kind of like the camera's version of this one:
"Psychedelic Spiderweb"
Of course, I have to throw in a fun picture of the dogs. They were having such a great time!
"JoLee Shaking"
Dew on the Grass - two versions:
"Dew 1"
"Dew 2"
And here's my favorite kind of photo - no matter how awful it turns out:
"You coming?"
